Give your NA/NB nice bright front turn indicators! Available in your choice of light output and style.
We use LEDs from Diode Dynamics because they’re the best ones we’ve found. They’re made to high standards, not just the minimum price. They’ve got constant-current circuitry to protect the bulbs from transients and offer a three year warranty.
The 1157 is the correct bulb for the front turn indicators on an NA or NB Miata – as well as thousands of other applications around the industry. The 280 lumen option is a good replacement for stock. The 310 lumen option is the HEY YOU IN THE SUV PAY ATTENTION option. Both of these are amber for both the low (parking light) and high wattage (turn indicator) filament.
The switchback option is cool. It’s white for the low wattage light, but amber for the high wattage. This gives a nice clean look most of the time but there’s no mistaking your turn indicators for anything else. And with a 410 lumen output rating, nobody will miss you. Seriously, we call them facemelters. Please note that while the switchbacks will work with factory NA DRLs (daytime running lights), they won’t work as you expect – i.e., the DRL will be amber, not white. For this reason, we don’t recommend switchbacks with factory NA DRL setups. If you have an NB1 (1999-2000), bear in mind that you have an amber lens built into your headlight housing. Unless you plan to remove that (which requires warming up the housing in the oven and careful disassembling), the switchback probably doesn’t make sense, as the parking light will still be amber.
Sold in pairs. Note that you will need a resistor or a new flasher to avoid hyperflash with these bulbs.
