Filling up your car is really pretty easy, but there’s one major annoyance – where did Mazda expect us to put the cap? It’ll mostly fit next to the filler neck, and it’ll always fit on the trunk lid, but one is decidedly sub-optimal and the other is a major no-no if you care about the paint. This is an easy solution to give you a perfect spot for it. It installs in the underside of the filler lid and gives you a perfect place the hold the filler cap – just give it a quick turn into place. As with all of our 3D-printed parts, this is printed out of Onyx, a carbon fiber infused nylon that’s resistant to many things, including gasoline.
This will only fit factory fuel filler doors, it likely won’t fit non-original fuel filler lids – if your fuel filler door is chrome, whether aftermarket or Mazda, this almost definitely won’t fit.
